  16. I have been busy putting together a 200 frame animation of a hand
  17. morphing through a brick wall.  I am using displacement mapping and
  18. surface morphing to accomplish this feat.  When I tried rendering
  19. overnight, I found that the wonderful red flashing "box" appeared
  20. explaining that software failure had occured.  I found that the
  21. rendering completed up to frame 21 and then gagged.

  23. I have a Amiga 2000 with the PP 040 card populated with 32Mb RAM.
  24. I only have 1 Mb of chip RAM.  NewTek tech support told me the 
  25. problem is not having 2Mb of chip RAM.  How can this be true
  26. if I am only using Lightwave?  I thought you needed extra chip
  27. RAM for utilizing Toasterpaint etc?

  29. At any rate, if the answer is I need more chip RAM, I seem to be
  30. in trouble.  I have called every dealer and mail order house I know,
  31. to order the MegaChip upgrade made by DKB.  The response is,
  32. "We can't get the Agnus chip since Commodore went out of business."
  33. Can someone help me find this chip?  I would hate to think my
  34. investment in the toaster goes down the drain because of one
  35. chip.
